'Inspirational Trauma' is a text-based installation curated and created by Ashleigh for Free Figure Revolution's Fat As Fuck! Art Show. This series of text-based pieces illustrate the depths of antiblackness as a minstrelsy for the world to participate in and benefit from. Inspired by Tatyana Fazlalizadeh, #BlackLivesMatter protests, and the audacity Black fat femmes have to exist in this world, this series showcases how the dominant gaze around Black life and death is curated for entertainment for the masses.
